Maintaining and enhancing the call centre support software for BT Internet with over 100,000 corporate and private customers whose details are stored in an Oracle database held on a remote Unix Server. Using VB 4/5 and C with database connectivity via ODBC and Oracle Objects, I was responsible for designing and coding many new features and enhancements to the system. |

I wrote routines to validate data supplied by external telephone call handlers and then bulk copy to SQL Server. I also wrote some generic stored procedures and TSQL scripts |

Client information is obtained via SQL ODBC link to host AS400 tables and derived data is transferred via PC/Support 400 data queues. VB program invokes WordBasic via DDE link to produce finished letter. |
